The Calgary Stampede is a legendary event that takes place over 10 days. It dates all the way back to the 1880s and can be a highlight of the summer in Calgary. Many people have referred to the stampede as ‘the greatest outdoor show on earth.’

It’s held in the month of July and visitors can enjoy a number of cowboy and rodeo style entertainment. Many visitors even dress up accordingly, making the event even more fun! Visit Banff And Lake Louise

Every visitor to Banff and Lake Louise agrees that it’s one of the most picturesque settings they have ever seen. It’s a great day trip from Calgary, as you can get there in less than 90 minutes. The route itself is incredible, with mountain vistas aplenty.

As well as the park, there are all kinds of shopping and dining opportunities for you to take in. Seeing Lake Louise will almost definitely be the highlight of your trip. The waters are a perfect, dazzling turquoise, and they are framed by the breathtaking snow capped mountains.

There are some truly fantastic Edmonton Breweries. The Yellowhead brewery is located in the heart of downtown Edmonton, offering one of Canada’s finest micro brewed beers, Yellowhead Premium lager. They also have one of the city’s most unique event spaces, hosting weddings and corporate events amongst others. The team are entirely Edmonton operated, engaging with local communities, small businesses and cultural organization’s.

Then there’s Alley Kat brewery, where you’ll find an enthusiastic team of people who are passionate about beer. They truly care about their craft, which is why many people agree they offer some of the best beverages around. Visiting these two Edmonton Breweries will make your trip a fun, and even educational experience.
