Recently I came across a pretty cool (and useful) platform – Airheart. Airheart was founded on a mission to help people travel with confidence and celebrate trailblazers, past and present. Despite the difficulties presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, Airheart believes that international travel remains a necessity (which obviously I agree with) and, in time, will become even more accessible than before.
The travel industry has been forced to innovate and adapt, and Airheart is bringing new solutions that help travelers plan their ideal trips in a fun and collaborative platform.
Launched during the pandemic, Airheart was initially developed to help people navigate complex travel restrictions domestically and internationally.
Airheart Explorer provides information for each route, presented in an easy-to-read format so that travelers can see what documents are needed before they go and what policies are in place on-location, such as mandatory COVID testing or quarantine.
They even take it a step further by allowing travelers to search for information based on their vaccination status and filter by certain policies.
When you “pin” a route on the platform, you can receive automatic email alerts when a border restriction or policy changes.
With Airheart’s core travel planning platform, organizing travel plans has become even easier; travelers can visualize any plan type, and trip details are organized automatically. Right now, you might be viewing and booking your flights, accommodations, and reservations with many different websites.
With Airheart, you can compare options side-by-side, in context. Narrow them down and book without leaving the site. COVID-related travel requirements for each country will also be added, so you can see what you need to do for each portion of your trip, step-by-step.
It’s also cool that your group will be kept up-to-date automatically when plans are created or altered. Group members will see the plans you booked in their own itinerary, and vise-versa. Airheart will pull important details out, add any additional information, and organize it for you into one itinerary.
You and your group members can then understand how your trip flows at a glance, or expand plans to see them in detail. If a policy or border restriction changes for a country that you’re planning to visit, you’ll get notified so that you can make adjustments to your itinerary if needed.
Airheart is community-driven and social. Follow travelers and gain inspiration from the itineraries they have created and shared. Invite your friends and family and choose to share your trips with the community as well.
