The reason I blog/write is pretty simple. One is selfish, I find it a great release for whatever I’m going through on a personal level. But the main reason is for you, my reader, I’m on a mission to civilize and inspire. I’m sick of reality TV and uninformed people dominating the discussion. I’m sick of short attention spans and the increased emphasis on materialism.

The end goal for Of Whiskey and Words is that you leave the blog being exposed to something that improves your life. Improvement can come in different forms. Maybe it’s an inspirational talk or quote. Maybe it’s an idea that expands your mind. Or maybe just a simple reaffirmation that you’re not alone in what you’re going through.
I blog in the hopes of enlightenment. I blog to limit isolation. I blog to inspire.
